Following news yesterday that the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, had reshuffled his cabinet for the first time in this Parliament in what is generally seen as a shift to the right, Barnaby decided that it would be a good time to reshuffle his own cabinet, which was bursting at the seams with a cornucopia of lost and misplaced items. Barnaby has often suspected that there must be a hidden room in his house since the number of things which have been put into a safe place and subsequently never been seen again, must be enough to fill a sizeable room by now. Sad to say, very few treasures were uncovered on this occasion, but order has been restored where once there was disorder.
Approximately half the items were shifted to the right and the other half shifted to the left, leaving the cabinet as unbalanced as it ever was.
With a warm glow of self satisfaction spreading over him following his exertions, Barnaby took a cold drink and a charged ereader out into the garden for a bit of well earned R and R.
Whether you decide to reshuffle your own cabinet or not, you could always take your own ereader, download one of Barnaby's books from www.barnaby-wilde.co.uk and award yourself an hour's R and R in your own chosen space. Go on. You know you want to.
